ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Board of Trustees of the Berwick Sewer District will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Berwick Sewer District office, at 39 Powerhouse Road in Berwick, Maine 03901. The purpose of the Public Hearing will be to consider a change to Sewer Service fees: Annual Sewer User Rate per Equivalent Dwelling Unit from $660 to $680 ($170 per Quarter), Equity Buy-in Fees from $1,642 to $1,733 per Equivalent Dwelling Unit, Readiness to Serve from $660 to $680/year and Holding Tank Waste from $0.035 to $0.05/gallon. medtakebackmaine is a free and anonymous drop box program in York County where you can drop off any unwanted medications: prescription, over-the-counter, drops, ointments, and veterinary medicines.
The local drop box is located in the lobby of the Berwick Police Department. Before dropping off medications, remove any personal information from the label. For more information, please contact the Berwick Police Department at (207) 698-1136.
